Escape on a gorgeous Day Workshop led by Botanical artist Ida Mitrani inside the magical Garden of Re-Imagination, Glengarriff, West Cork.
Learn practical techniques in creating Botanical Art including, drawing, measuring, shading & watercolour techniques, as well as colour theory, colour mixing & preparing colour charts. You will leave with your own study of a Summer flower or foliage of your choosing.
Ida Mitrani is a Turkish born French artist and art teacher based in Ireland since 1997. She graduated from DLIADT in 2003 with a Honours Degree in Fine Art. Along with exhibiting her own art, Ida runs creative workshops and teaches at the London Art College. She also set up the first intensive Botanical Art course in the Institute of Art and Design and Technology in Dun Laoghaire, in 2012. A full member of the Irish Society of Botanical Artists, Ida recently took part of the World Botanical Art exhibition in the Botanical gardens in Glasnevin, Dublin.
